Maple Walnut Butter
This Maple Walnut Butter recipe is a quick way to add flavor to a number of dishes. A few of my favorite are pumpkin pancakes, cornbread and dinner rolls.
INGREDIENTS
2 Sticks of Butter, Softened
1/4 Cup Chopped Walnuts
2 Tablespoons Real Maple Syrup
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
This recipe works best with butter that has been softened by leaving out. If you don't have that much time, put the butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave util just softened.
Mix butter together until smooth.
Add all ingredients into the butter.
Mix until fully incorporated.
Spoon butter into a jar for storing. If you are using a mold for you butter, now is the time to place it into the mold.
Optional: If placing in a jar, top with additional chopped walnuts.
Place jar in fridge to firm butter back up or for storage. Serve butter chilled or softened.
